Different Versions of Tice Power Block III?

Does anyone know the differences between the Tice Power Block III Signature versions A, B and C? I have searched everywhere and can't find any answer.

I have owners' instruction manuals for the B and the C, and I have a review of the A from The Inner Ear Report (TIER).

All three versions offer five different circuits.

The A is described by the TIER report as having three circuits each with 300 watts capacity plus two circuits with 1875 watts capacity. The three 300 watt circuits can be upgraded to 600 watts each as an option.

The B (serial# 09000958) is described in its owners' manual as having three circuits each with 300 watts capacity plus two circuits with 1800 watts capacity. The two 1800 watt circuits would be upgraded to 2400 watts if the unit has the "HP" or high power option. Notably, the three 300 watt circuits each have their own internal fuses. There are also two externally accessible circuit breakers, one protecting the three 300 watt circuits and one protecting the two higher power circuits. This description is for the American configuration and separate descriptions are provided for the British configuration and for the continental European configuration.

The C (serial# 09001023 HP) is described in its owners' manual as having all five circuits with 1800 watts capacity. Three of these circuits are identified as "low current filtered," and the other two are identified as "high current filtered." (I am not sure what these mean since all circuits seem to have the same wattage capacity.) The two high current filtered circuits would be upgraded to 2400 watts if the unit has the "HP" or high power option. There are no fuses protecting any of these circuits. There are two externally accessible circuit breakers, one protecting the three low current filtered circuits and one protecting the two high current filtered circuits. Again, this description is for the American configuration and separate descriptions are provided for the British configuration and for the continental European configuration.

There may be other differences in filtration and spike protection that I may have missed after a quick flip through of these manuals.
Thanks. I just bought one of these from a store that had taken it in on a trade but there was no manual and they did not know which version it was. Based on your description of the 3 versions, it sounds like it is the "B" model.

What seems odd is that unlike the original Power Block (which I have had for 20 years) these units do not regulate voltage. They seem to be more of a power conditioner type device.

I will update after I install the PB III.
