How to sell Sonic Frontiers SFS 80 Tube Amplifier, Melos SHA Gold Tube Preamplifier, AlonI

Hi. After years of dormancy, I have a question.

I am helping a friend (really, it is not me) who is retiring and leaving the country and retiring liquidate some of his audio gear. He has some great stuff - a Sonic Frontiers SFS 80 Tube Amplifier, a Melos SHA Gold Tube Preamplifier,  Acarian Systems Alon I Speakers and other stuff as well.

I am wondering about:
  • Where to sell (here, Craigslist dealing in person, ebay, other places?)
  • How to maximize his return (in terms of fees, etc.)
  • Sell individually or as a package
When considering these aspects, I am concerned re shipping heavy amp and speakers. We are within 3 hours of Boston, Montreal, and NYC, so, in person deals for the heavy items in these areas would be best I think?

I have a lot of experience selling minor things (I am a 30 year de-cluttering and minimalist veteran, not really for profit) on ebay and CL, but have never bought/sold on here.

So based on all of the above, what's the forum's advice.

 Melos SHA Gold Tube Preamplifier
You can say the Melos SHA Gold has a copy of the Lightspeed Attenuator MkI con-tactless volume control in it, they called it a photentiometer and it was this that set it apart from all other tube or solid state active preamps, and why it got great reviews, as the tube part was basic tube preamp circuitry. These go for good money S/H if in good working condition.
Many owners got in contact with me and got their’s converted to a Lightspeed MkII volume control, which sound even better.
