Some units need you to setup the speakers to tell it your going 7.1, otherwise it wont output. Also default surround modes may need clarified as IIX.
How to get Dolby Prologic IIx to work with my 4308
Hey Everyone,
I'm having trouble getting my denon 4308ci to produce Dolby Prologic IIx. Does anyone have this receiver? I have a 7.1 set up and would love to be able to listen to all of my channels with a 5.1 movie. I've been told that movies don't have to be encoded with Dolby Prologic IIx, you just need a receiver capable or producing it. Does anyone have any experience with this?
