How is the Auralic Aries S1 or the Vega S1?

I find the inability to use another DAC with the Vega to be annoying. I prefer the ability to use or not use the DAC like in the Rose 150B.

Also, the fact the Aries and Vega are the same price makes me wonder which part of the Vega is "cheap," the streaming part or the DAC?

Like, I am very interested in these but these limitations of the Vega is making me decide on "none" instead of one or both (I have a main system and an office system, and am looking to upgrade...with synergy...from my Bluesound Node and NAD M50.2).

I have MiniDSP SHD streamer which i use to integrate subwoofers in my setup with Dirac, it sounds the best through its internal upnp input and much better than the coax input , Now i use Audirvana to stream music to the Minidsp through LAN ,

What i am looking for is the Auralic Aries S1 as an interface for the Minidsp shd, can it stream to the Minidsp shd through the upnp/dlna ? can it see the minidsp shd as an end point ?

Any thoughts ?

It’s so new almost no one has heard it even on the Auralic forums just at audio shows. Are they even shipping yet?

I take that back just went on the Auralic forums and one gentleman has posted some impressions.
