How good is Unison Unico phono stage?

I have a Unison Unico hybrid amp that I bought here on Audiogon. It's great!
The unit I bought doesn't have a phono stage, but it turns out that I can order one (it comes on a single circuit board) from the US distributor for $250, which is certainly reasonable. Question is, does anybody know how good the Unico phono stage is?
