How good are Harbeth HL-P3ES-2

hello
I have an chance to get a pair of Harbeth HL-P3ES-2 for what I believe to be a good price, they would be used in a 10 x 11 room which may help there lack of lower frequency....I would like to hear from any owners or passed owners...strengths and weaknesses
I do not have a chance to demo in house because there are no Harberth dealer in the area
Thank you all
PS using a 80 watt class A intergrated doubles to 160 @ 4 ohms and a maxx modded sony DVP 9000es from parts connection as a source (love it)
Cheers

I'd pass. Strangely enough, they are a small speaker that sounds better at higher volumes in a larger room. Despite their small size, they are not really an 'intimate' speaker. They are very detailed, and play very loud for their size. Of all which is moot in your room.

They are not in the same league as the other Harbeths with the 'radial' drivers, so don't be swayed by the Harbeth 'mystique'. I've owned these and damn near every other small speaker you can think of. Favorites are still LS3/5a's (the new Stirlings are killer) and the Spendor S3/5 (se version only).
