Home Theatre...

Greetings..

I am setting up a seperate Video/HT system in a newer home.

I'll be using an Arcam AVR-350 and Arcam DV-139 for electronics.
My Front/Main speakers are Definitive Tech Mythos ST's..(with powwered subs built in).

I'm currently using an older Power Wedge 116 for conditioning...(but will most likely update).

Finally...I'll be mounting my Pioneer Plasma to complete the System

I went to great lengths/expense in my "Audio Only" system when it comes to dedicated power lines...seperate grounds...ect, and would not like to repeat that here.

So, my question is...

I could use some help on what configuration and size
wiring/cabling I should use to give myself a clean and quiet dedicated power supply for my system...without breaking the bank!!

I appreciate your help here!!

Thanks!

Over the years I've been told to use 10 guage wiring and that's exactly what my dedicated lines are.As far as power supply,I use the Torus(couldn't be happier)as far as PIUs'conditioners ect. Those I never have to upgrade again.
they are up there in price though,to me doing it right,is we'll worth it.
IF your current level of electrical service permits, I'd try looking into an transformer isolated power supply. Square D among others make just such isolation Tformers... separate ground too would be in order. Two 20A ckts should suffice, or 3 if you want to look towards the future and perhaps a midea server.

Run the cabling either shielded or in PVC to avoid contact with other ckts. A 4-5KW tformer and some #12 stranded THHN or the like and some hospital grade or better outlets. All in all it should be within reach $$$ wise fairly easy.

Good luck.

After a small or large project is finished, many times we will say something like " I should have done this or that when I had the chance to ".

We have all done this one time or another, so with that being said, from what you went through with your " audio only " system, what would you do different ?

This is the way that I would look at it since you basically have a second chance and now have more experience .
