High Fidelity Cables CT-1designed by Rick Schultz

In December 2011,I wrote that High Fidelity cables led by cable designer Rick Schultz was putting together a new cable. The cable came to market as CT-1.The CT-1 has FINALLY made it into my system!I had obtained a version of the prototype that Rick had been working on.It blew my previous reference Genesis by Virtual Dynamics.I thought I had finally found my end with this cable. This prototype delivered to my ears "Nirvana".Could I be at the end of my quest for the ultimate sound?
No. I received two pairs of CT-1 to replace my prototypes. They went into the system this past Friday.Unable to dedicate time until Sunday listening,I stole a few moments, ducking away from company with anticipation. My guest could tell even with the music set for"ambiance"something was intriguing and I was in for a treat!
The experience:
First off,CT-1 was very user friendly.Installation was simple;the cable is very nice and light. The female RCA fit beautifully unlike any I had found in other cable. It was secure and reliable. It seemed much thought was dedicated to developing a designer fit to an aesthetically stunning RCA connector.Install entailed a few wiggles to ensure what seemed like a compression fit on my RCA.
It was 2-3 hrs. for the 1st step of break in to be complete. At that point I had something different!Today, although they only have 10-12 hrs. on them,I can`t put into words how much my system has transformed.Believe me,I loved my prototypes.However....there is simply no comparision.
The clarity and sound is so natural.
The soundstage is like nothing I ever heard.Resoulution is breathtaking and inner detail is simply hard to believe possible.
The sound has transended and now it simply does not seem as thought I have speakers.
My system is musicians playing music.
I am told with time they will improve and I trust that as it was revealed with the prototypes.I wanted to share my thoughts with you that now.
Unequivocally,a testament to High Fidelity,as the name declares.
High Fidelity Cables for me,the last word on it,after 12 hours!
Truly Amazing

@ddraudt thanks.  I remember when I first started using high fidelity products and how much it changed my system.  Just better transparency. Just better depth.  Just closer to the music.  Rick pushes the limits!

Back to the listening, let's talk audio. Great sound is the object here. Depth and transparency. Like the sound not the people.  How is your system sounding @tbg

@ddraudt I'm trying 2 of them so far. I going to try more soon.  So far so good!

Enjoying the power conditioner. The mc 6 is doing a great job. It’s helping pull the musical notes a little more in the room.
I got a Parasound integrated just to switch things up a little. I used my high fidelity ultimates interconnects on it today and WOW.  The extra solid state power with the clarity and depth of the interconnects did wonders for the system. I'm using this as part of my Solid state system. Great sound.  Anyone who can't hear the difference need to check their ears. Always good to switch things up sometimes just to see what happens.

@lak I added the helix orchestral IC to my system last night. So far so good. I’m very impressed.  The things that have improved to me is better soundstage,  bass response and the main thing I like the most is that there seems to be more air around the instruments and the treble has better decay and is more airy and open than his previous cables. I will be adding the double helix power cable in a couple of days.  I’m extremely happy with this orchestral version of his cable. I added it to the s Soulutions 540 CD player and it has found a home!
Hey fellas, long time no post. I pulled out my ct1 ultimate interconnect. I had been using clarity cable natural interconnect and its sounds great. However, when I put the ct1 ultimate interconnect back in. The quiet background and the transparency of the ct1 ultimate reminded me of why I got it.  Truly a great sounding cable. You Hear through the music all the wAy to where the players are playing.  Hope all is well just had a flashback and put it back in and whammo!  Thanks Rick you are truly a genius!
Doing great. Got bummed a little. My closest audiophile buddy died and I got a little bummed out but I'm back. I missed the music. It is my meds.
Thanks tgun5. The music is in our blood.  Plus great cables and equipment and music equals heaven!
Hey I haven’t heard the reveal line yet anyone what are your impressions?
This thread is 8 years strong because the owners of the cables enjoy them and they believe in the brand. They are mostly happy with what they buy and more importantly what they hear.  The evolution of sound continues my review of the orchestral line coming soon
Picked up my reveal power power cable and reveal rca interconnects. Extremely happy. They have a very slight warmth to them but the are still open with punchy bass. They also have a low noise floor.  Very nice soundstage. Very balanced from top to bottom with a little oomph in the bass. I put it on my Sony 5400 es modwright tubed CD player and it is a match made in Heaven. It took the slight digital edge off of the Sony.  I see with this line is performing so well for High fidelity. At this price point it’s a steal. I’ve heard cables 3 times the price not be as musical as these.  Rick has hit it out the park and these two cables are not going anywhere. They are now part of my reference system they have a permanent home on the Sony modwright. These things have zero ear fatigue.  Very happy. Thanks Rick you have done it again.
I’m listening to,the CT-2 interconnects and wow. They sound great. They are open and clear with a lower noise floor than the CT-1. Then they also have better treble extension. This is a great interconnect Cable definitely and improvement over the ct1
Well to each his own. Can’t tell me what i heard or,didn’t hear. All I know things sound bigger than they sounded with the ct1 the ct2 is a big step in the line. I’ve listened to a lot of cables and this is one of the best so far.
Very happy with the orchestral line. It’s his best yet.  Increased treble extension and bass response.  Very transparent.  Really good depth and layers very well.  Very happy!
I also use clarity cable  and atlas mavros speaker cables. My speakers are Gato FM6 and are very good. High fidelity improves transparency and on my jazz gives it a snappy pace and more clarity
@everyone if you are for another brand on this thread. That is fine but if you work for that company stay in your lane and go post on that thread. This thread has been going for years because we like the product. If the product you like is so good go promote it. But this thread is for those who own the cables or seek information on them. Quit acting like you are an audiophile and not a company troll. Now if you are that person beat it! I love these High Fidelity cables. My new high fidelity  orchestral cables will be coming next week I will share the impressions on my new Solutions 540 cd/dac player
I just picked up orchestral ic and power cords.  Will go in the system tomorrow
High Fidelity Orchestral Helix Cables review. I added a Orchestral Interconnects and a Orchestral Helix power cable to my Soulutions 540 CD/DAC PLAYER. The first thing I heard was increase clarity and detail. It is as clear as a bell. The other thing that got better was the transparency. You heard deeper into the music. It had more depth.  These cables also seem to have a quicker pace with my jazz. The bass in the cable is punchy and controlled. Which allows it to keep up with the music.  Rick Schultz has once again improved over his last cable line and has another hit on his hand.  These cables should do well. They improved my listening experience and I’m extremely happy with these. Now back to my DUKE PEARSON “THE RIGHT TOUCH” cd. Back to my jam session!
However, on this Soulutions 540. The other ones can’t match the High Fidelity Orchestral.  It give the Soulutions gear more see through transparency, detail and immediacy compared to the others
The high fidelity orchestral line of interconnects and power cords is really synergizing with the soulutions 540 running through my Melco server
