High Fidelity Cables CT-1designed by Rick Schultz

In December 2011,I wrote that High Fidelity cables led by cable designer Rick Schultz was putting together a new cable. The cable came to market as CT-1.The CT-1 has FINALLY made it into my system!I had obtained a version of the prototype that Rick had been working on.It blew my previous reference Genesis by Virtual Dynamics.I thought I had finally found my end with this cable. This prototype delivered to my ears "Nirvana".Could I be at the end of my quest for the ultimate sound?
No. I received two pairs of CT-1 to replace my prototypes. They went into the system this past Friday.Unable to dedicate time until Sunday listening,I stole a few moments, ducking away from company with anticipation. My guest could tell even with the music set for"ambiance"something was intriguing and I was in for a treat!
The experience:
First off,CT-1 was very user friendly.Installation was simple;the cable is very nice and light. The female RCA fit beautifully unlike any I had found in other cable. It was secure and reliable. It seemed much thought was dedicated to developing a designer fit to an aesthetically stunning RCA connector.Install entailed a few wiggles to ensure what seemed like a compression fit on my RCA.
It was 2-3 hrs. for the 1st step of break in to be complete. At that point I had something different!Today, although they only have 10-12 hrs. on them,I can`t put into words how much my system has transformed.Believe me,I loved my prototypes.However....there is simply no comparision.
The clarity and sound is so natural.
The soundstage is like nothing I ever heard.Resoulution is breathtaking and inner detail is simply hard to believe possible.
The sound has transended and now it simply does not seem as thought I have speakers.
My system is musicians playing music.
I am told with time they will improve and I trust that as it was revealed with the prototypes.I wanted to share my thoughts with you that now.
Unequivocally,a testament to High Fidelity,as the name declares.
High Fidelity Cables for me,the last word on it,after 12 hours!
Truly Amazing

@mapman that was for you. You are always commenting on comments. Not on how something sounds I don't know why I am making comments to you! Lol. I should know better.
@ddraudt. It's a reminder of why I got them in the first place. I will just play and enjoy. I'm having a few guys over this Saturday to listen.
@ptss I started to just let the comments you made go but nope I can't do that! It's agitating to watch someone come on a thread and make comments about someone else's enjoyment of a product. Whether it's a cable or component. The last time I checked you can't smell or hear someone else's system on audiogon. It's just a symbol of today's society where people challenge a person's integrity that they don't know or will ever meet. On top of all that you will never hear or probably care to hear my system, this cable or anyone else's system on this thread. If people are happy and giddy for something. Let them be happy. I'm just not one to allow someone else to decide my level of enjoyment of something. So stay on the high horse you are on and just ride out this thread! Goodbye
There is a scene the movie "The Mack" Richard Pryor and Max Julian. "When you hear grown folks talking shut ----------- up." If you don't have any listening experiences then why comment on the forum. Well said TBG. @mapman go use your chicken wire and play with your etch-a-sketch. Grown folks are talking!
The Pro Series is the only high fidelity item I haven't heard. I hope that I get the opportunity to listen soon. What are the differences that are hearing so far from the other series.
@tbg I'm hoping to slow my office down a little bit so I can road trip. I want to hear your system but time is always tight. I will come down when I can slow it down.
Maybe February. It will give you time to get everything in place. I'm still tweaking my system over here. It's kind of different because very few people in the U.S. Have even heard my gato fm6 speakers. One of the reasons I have my system is to be different. If you ever come to Dallas I would love you to stop in and tell me what you think. I got the high fidelity ultimates in right now. I'm trying the with my E.A.R acute CD player right now. I have a lot of discs 1500. I'm using the essence of music liquid to clean them before I play them. I'm still using the the KR audio va 900 integrated. I love it. It makes me wonder how the KR audio Kronzilla would sound. @Ddraudt the same invitation is open to you. I would imagine you guys hear a lot of gear. Enjoy the music. Thanks.
@tbg. You are welcome when you are in Dallas. Make it a combo trip and I will adjust for you to hear. Always great to get a really good ear on my system. @ddraudt. I believe you I hope to hear the new stuff soon. We will get together soon.
@guidocorona. To me HFC just brings clarity and precision that I hadn't ever heard with the other brands. It always finds a way into my system.
@raks. Keep enjoying the ct1. They are special. They seem to find a way in my system no matter what equipment is being used. I know that these cables are a keeper. Great layering decay and natural sound. I'm going to miss my system for 3 days because of work. The high fidelity ultimate reference are the real deal. @Ddraudt how are you liking the duke Pearson cd "right touch"
@tbg. Ddraudt has invited me to listen to his system 3 weeks ago and I will soon. I never invite myself or suggest that anyone invites themselves to anyone's home. I'm just happy that I found high fidelity cables because it has given me musical realism that I had not experienced until now. Happy listening @tbg. The speed and realism on my trio jazz is something that I can not live without anymore after I listened to the high fidelity ultimate reference. @ audiolabyrinth. "Step into the light and carol ann"(poltergeist) and come on over to high fidelity. Lol.
@audiolabyrinth. I'm just going to the integrated. The E.A.R 868 is a great piece. I hate to sell it. I'm just an audio junkie. We had a 8 hour listening session last night. That is what this hobby should be about. The music and the joy it brings. I had the lsa statement with the high fidelity ultimate reference power cable. We were using the resonessence invicta dac as the source. Great sound. That Duke Pearson "Right Touch" the Rudy Van Gelden remaster was completely smoking in that system last night. We also listened to the kr audio 900 integrated which was also sounding superb. It is a special piece as well. We were using the gato fm 6 speaker to listen to this set up. They were sounding great last night. Really good speaker. The ultimate reference power cord made the lsa a whole other amp when we put that power cord on there. I'm still sleepy because of yesterday lol. @Ddraudt. Thanks for the response and invite. I can't wait to hear your system. I got a lot of good music to suggest to you. I brought the lsa home from my listening session last night and tonight I will listen to it on my Viennas using the parasound cd1 as my source. Will report out tomorrow. Happy listening fellas.
@everyone. Sorry I'm just slow I'm not that good with numbers but my ears are what I rely on. I will just tell you this I have tried cable after cable and these are different from all of them. As far as someone being a fraud. I deal with people on how they treat their customers. I have had Rick personally look at my system. He has made improvements and suggestions that have nothing to do with him selling me something. It's called customer service. It's called trying to help a fellow audiophile get the most out of his system. It's called helping a human being out. I remember calling a local audio dealer here in Dallas and how if he could not sell me a certain amount of equipment he didn't want to deal with me. He couldn't even commit to how many days it would take to complete the job. Even after I guaranteed 2 days labor upfront. I actually didn't frown on his high deposit and he continually back peddled because he could make a certain profit off me. Yes, Ricks cables are expensive but the deliver great sound. However, more importantly he backs it up with great customer service. The reason why I got a long term demo of his product because he knows it's that good. That's when you know your stuff is good. You are not afraid that people won't like it. How many of us have bought product we never heard and been disappointed. This is why we come to these forums on audiogon to keep it from happening again. Well all I know is that I'm selling almost all my other cables after hearing high fidelity ultimate reference in my system in this demo. It's funny how people started out talking about measurements before they talk about sound. I wonder if it's the competition freaking out. Hmmm. That's a thought. If I'm on top of my game I'm not worried about what the next man is doing or saying. The question is "How does it sound?" Like sweet butter with just enough kick in it but still open and transparent. No grain or after taste. Well I guess you are doing something right Rick. Now listen up fellas this ain't a math class it's music. Put your calculators up and open your ears. Lol.
I took 2 power cords out and the 2 ic out. All of it was high fidelity ultimate reference. The music is just not the same. The power cords are special. The ic add realism and naturalness. The notes don't separate as well without high fidelity ultimate reference. The decays are not there. The music is not as vibrant. The Kendrick Scott Oracle conviction album. There is a jazz piece called "I have a dream". There is part of the song where you can hear guys talking in the background faintly. Without the high fidelity ultimate reference. You can't hear it. The prat has been reduced. The Speed is not there. High fidelity ultimate reference is special. I took one piece out first then the three others. I like the power cords the most. Then the ic then speaker cables. Either way it's all good. It gets better piece by piece. Taking it out is like throwing a really thick blanket over your speaker. Rick set out to create a special product that provides a listening experience different from any other. He has succeeded in doing so and continues to make it even better. If you have a system you owe to yourself to put some high fidelity in it.
@audiolabryinth and jmcmcgrogan2 it was the tara labs the one interconnect. It was a vovox cable and some cables I have from clearer audio out of the uk. I did not post to have my comparison broke down like a science project. I did it because that's what I had on hand. It seems like a lot of guys want to defend this cable over that cable. I could care less about that. All I know is that I like the high fidelity cables more than anything else I have tried. I have tried more than 30 different brands in about 10 to 15 different set ups. All I know is as of right now high fidelity is the best I have heard to my ears. I care about the music. My best set up in my home included veloce ls1, high fidelity cables along with my vienna acoustics with the parasound cd1. I post here because these cables have brought me to audio nirvana better than all of the previous ones. I'm not a cheerleader I actual listen to the music. I have 1100 CDs. I will listen to any genre of music. It's about the music to me. I have been like this system my uncle mike gave me his turntable and some old funk records. I been like this since we wore out Billy Paul's "Me and Mrs. Jones" and had to buy the record twice. I know it's seems like the guys here who like high fidelity defend it like it's their first born. However, when you love music and you find something that makes your ears perk up that's what you do. It works for us. Audiolabyrinth tara labs work for you. WE ALL KNOW THAT. LOL. Tara labs cures cancer, turns water to wine, knocked mike Tyson out first, made jerry jones apologize to jimmy johnson etc. etc.etc. Lol. I'm just messing with you keith don't go getting agitated on me. I appreciate the enthusiasm the each of you have. Jmac. I appreciate your posts on the other threads. I understand you want to know what I compared it to now you know. @tbg you are right I have enjoyed Rick's high fidelity ultimate reference to the ends of the earth and top of the mountain. It is truly a find in my high end audio journey the last 6 years. I been at it non stop like a junkie. Lol. It expensive but it delivers!!! @mapman. Not likely? Ha ha ha. How did you know that I was thinking that what I compared it to was irrelevant. It actual is irrelevant. These cables will have you sitting in your listening chair mainlining like chris Tucker did in the movie "Dead Presidents" Lol. Honestly, they are different from all the other brands I have heard. It's been funny watching this thread flare up like we are still playing high school football in Texas on Friday Night. Lol. All of the guys here have been entertaining. @Ddraudt.@tbg High Fidelity For Life!!!!! LOL.
Listening session last night was exactly what I needed. I'm going to be listening to my sonus faber toy monitor speakers that used to be in my 5 channel set up for a while. I'm gonna be down without a floorstanding speaker right now and it's a bummer. I'm going to put the high fidelity ultimates ic on these toy monitor speakers and enjoy the sound of my music on a smaller scale for a while. @tbg@ddraudt remember this thread should stay on topic. Sometimes folks who haven't heard the cables chime in and in those cases it doesn't benefit the people who want to know about experiences with the cables. I think there are videos with Rick explaining his technology for those who want to go look. Personally I just want the cables to give me the music with speed, a low noise floor, detail and naturalness. After I demoed them. I am missing them big time. Once I get situated they are going to come back home. Lol. The ultimate reference power cord is really my favorite piece because it takes a component and maximizes the performance and raises it a level. When I first started looking into cables I never thought that I would hear one that made this much of a difference. However there us some secret sauce in this one because I don't continue to look for other cables I just got to stack my chips up to add high fidelity back in my system. 5 years of looking and these are the best so far. Happy listening fellas. @everyone else I'm not a scientist or math geek. I am a music lover and nothing has brought me closer to the "You are there feeling" than High fidelity ultimate reference. Enjoy your music first and do your math problems later everyone.
Fellas I'm going to RMAF next year no matter what. It's a whole year away now. We should go and all listen. @audiolabryinth there are people that went to the show that saw tara labs cabling. I didn't go so I'm not going to comment on what was there or not there because I can't. There were guys on this forum that actually attended and saw them. I can't argue with what they saw because I DIDNT SEE IT. You or I have no business saying that they were not there because we didn't go. I have been to shows and there are always cables being used by exhibitors even if they don't always list them. I stopped posting a lot because I think I started sounding like I was comparing High fidelity stuff to stuff I never heard. I wouldn't do that. I can't say High Fidelity is the best in the world. I just know it's the best I have ever heard. Why would you say that TARA LABS is better than everything else all the time. I really feel sorry for you. I feel bad that I'm even responding to your comments. It just doesn't make any sense. You are actually telling people who spent three days at a show what they did or didn't see!!! Wow I think you are starting to hurt the TARA LABS brand with these outlandish comments. I like High fidelity and it will be my brand of choice for a long time. I hope you are enjoying your tara labs. However, coming on another thread and telling people what was or wasn't there at a show you never went to is very sad. I really feel sorry for you. It's not about tara labs or high fidelity but after seeing your comments I don't think that anyone can trust your impressions of the cables you talk about. Have you even heard these new cables that tara labs has released????? When did you hear these cables that you speak about??? I think all of the guys who post about the high fidelity cables on this forum have heard them, own them, or demoed the cables that we speak about. I have heard all the cables and amps that I speak on extensively. I'm not attacking you kieth. I'm just asking you a good question. @tbg, Ddraudt,fplanner2000, Calloway, lak,Jfant, johnp and anyone I forgot. The excitement that I see that Rick has for the innovation of sound is special. Dare to be different and expand the limits of sound. That's what this hobby is. The innovation and will to excel in how we hear the music in the purest form is what I hear in the product and the person who makes it. Until I rebuild my system that's all I have to say for now. Please stay on topic and block out the stuff that is important or serious. Kieth "Come on Maannn!!!!"
@albertporter. It is so true. Time and equipment can evolve your tastes. I used to be in the heavy, warm, textured, rich and organic camp. When I listened to ricks high fidelity the music was so much more live and natural. It also had no background noise. The speed and prat for a heavy jazz listener like myself was greatly enjoyable. So now I want a mix of the two sounds. I'm going to use high fidelity cables and get the other part I seek through the electronics. Speakers, amp, and a tube pre or the right integrated. I listened to Ricks system this weekend and the clarity and naturalness was off the charts. The speed was there in spades. There is a song by Kendrick Scott Oracle called "Cycling into Reality" during one of the solos you can hear the band members talk while they are playing when they are really feeling it. Most cables background noise would obscure this but the high fidelity stuff allows you to hear this and when the four other instruments come in. It does it with great prat, decay and proper instrument placement. It was very enjoyable and non fatiguing but crystal clear and detailed without being bright.
@everyone. We share experiences as audiophiles. I hope that if anyone has an opinion about how something sounds I know I appreciate it. I like when someone finds an item that they enjoy. I have found a few. Lol. I have also had some duds along they way. I will continue to enjoy what I have and share it with you. I make changes to my system and when I do I share what I think is good and what is not. I care about sound. If tin foil gets you there I'm happy for you. If an expensive cable gets you there then I'm happy for you. Earlier in this thread I thought that there was no way the upper high fidelity could be that good. Then a funny thing happened. "I HEARD THEM!!!. The reason I have them now is because I liked what I heard. You judge for yourself. Don't let anybody tell you what to like. I had a friend once and he would try to tell me what was good and what was not. However, I realized he never heard what he commented on and our taste were a little different. Do your own research. Hear what you can and decide based on that. #Hearing is believing!!!
@raks I haven't had the Nordost Tyr speaker cables but I have owned the Nordost Tyr interconnects and I changed from them into a high fidelity interconnect. I will tell you that I thought the Nordost Tyr were pretty good but when I pu the high fidelity in it sounded like a veil had been lifted. I thought the Tyr had a little deeper bass but the midrange and highs were not even close to the high fidelity ct-1. I thought both were fast but the ct1 had a quiter background with better starting and stopping. The decay on the Nordost was good but I thought the decay on the ct1 was special on cymbals. The ct1 had more of a live sound without being bright. The Nordost sounded like a very very good recording. I liked both but the ct1 was better because of the quiet backgrounds and the upper midrange and lower treble. That particular area was exceptional to me. It is where the voices are. It is where a lot of the strings and pianos are. The initial strikes of instruments a clear and impactful. The Nordost had a little more body and weight but not by much. However, the higher level high fidelity closes the gap completely. The high fidelity will give you a more live immediate sound. The other thing is to be patient doing the a & b comparisons. I used to do that like crazy and I had to get off the merry go round. Be patient sip the wine don't guzzle it like Kool Aid. Play multiple cds and different types of music to evaluate what the cable is doing and what it sounds like. Enjoy and remember. Don't talk just listen. Lol. Enjoy your music and your system.
@everyone. I post less because I stay away from the negative energy on this thread put out by people who doubt the enjoyment by the many other high fidelity owners. Until you hear and live with them you just wouldn't understand. @all high fidelity owners the nay Sayers just are not going to get it. Blah blah blah and attack and accuse and etc. All I can say to them is quit pocket watching. People spend the money they make on what they like and if they are happy with it so be it. If you think someone is not genuine then why do you think the rest of us are so stupid that we need to be saved by you. Lol. Look high end audio is about getting the best sound you can and so far this product has done that for the high fidelity owners. End of conversation. If something else does it for you then go buy it and keep buying it. Go to that thread and add something useful. This thread is a high fidelity thread that we like to use to tell others our actual impressions on this product. Good or bad. Mostly good. Lol. So if you want to attack people go do it on facebook or something. "Don't kill my Vibe" I can feel your negative energy from three planets away. Lol.
@guidocorona I agree on my jazz trios it just allows me to hear all the players play. Especially on my percussion it allows me to hear precision and musicality.
@tbg@ddraudt@lak Will we trying the new adapters next week. It will be very interesting. I will have comments about sound not all of the non sound related stuff that pops out of the child's jack in the box repeatedly. Lol
Constantly pushing the limits of sound. Constantly pushing the product to get better and better. I've watched Rick innovate and innovate again. I listened a lot of cables and the immediacy of the high fidelity stuff is just different. Trying to make the best conduit to sound as possible. It's just flat out exciting and relaxing at the same time. That's hard to explain but music makes me happy and when I hear it even clearer it takes you there. Drive and determination for the hobby. Glad I tried the first ct1 4 years ago. Been on a unforgettable journey in sound. High fidelity as well as other equipment. It's been a joy!!!

I have too used the essence of music treatment. It works extremely well. I just ordered the new power conditioner that High Fidelity just released. I'm hoping to get it by Thursday or Friday and get it in my system. It's 999.00 so I'm looking forward to replacing my furman power conditioner with it.  If it does what what the technology usually does I will hear the improvements. I'm happy to have it in my system and at the price it's a no brainer

I just picked it up today.  I will be putting it in my system tomorrow. It actually heavier than it looks. It's a pretty nice chunky piece of equipment.  It actually has some good sturdy feet on it as well. I was looking to replace my furman power conditioner and the old tributaries one I have. I'm going to use my ultimate reference rhodium power cord and I'm going to try it with a power cable from clarity cable that similarly priced to the power conditioner.  I'm glad this came out because I wanted a power conditioner that was in the 1000 to 1500 range so this was perfect for me I will report out in the next few days.
Im letting it burn in.  It was brand new. I can tell you already that compared to the furman that I had it's better so far. The backgrounds are quieter and also it helped in the area of transparency. I'm listening since to the album "Hands" by Dave Holland. It's a well recorded album and it helps you grade your system and cabling etc.  I noticed when I put the power conditioner in that things were more open and I could hear the guys in the background talking.  I will play it a couple of more days and give an update this weekend

High fidelity mp6 power conditioner is breaking in and I'm happy that I got it.  The high fidelity stuff usually brings clarity and quiet black backgrounds. This power conditioner does the same thing. I was using a furman and this hands down is better. The music sounds more open and clearer.    You want your power conditioner to be nuetral and transparent and
Spent the last couple of days burning in the power conditioner more. It sounds best when fed by a high fidelity power cable. That might be expensive for some audiophiles. I understood that so I also compared it to the furman and the tributaries power conditioners that I had on hand while using a lower priced clarity power cable and the the high fidelity power conditioner easily bettered the other two conditioners. The high fidelity power conditioner gave a more in depth presentation of the music. It gave the music more depth. The cymbals seemed a little more airy and the drum and guitar initial impacts are there more.  The music jumps out of blackness. There seems to be a lower noise floor. It's a keeper for me because I know you could spend more and get less performance.  I'm not taking the the chance the high fidelity mp6 is a keeper for me. It's a must try for those who want a reasonably priced power conditioner.
The ultimate reference helix on my dac has just taken things to a whole other level.  I tried to put a cheaper lesser power cable on it and it's not even the same piece of equipment.  I see why I have become such a fan of this product because it just delivers ultra low noise level with you are there type detail. I tried to part with it and the music it helps create just slaps since into me.  Lol.  I have been on this thread a long time and I know some people say " It can't be that good" well it actually is!!!  I see why this brand has grown and why the customers are so loyal. At least one piece of high fidelity will always be in my system because it's as close to the music as you are ever going to get.   I played a dsd version of the album "The Bright Mississippi" by the late great Allen Tousssaint and the shimmer, decay and air around the instruments is flat out unreal.
I do. Music is not the same without it. I remember telling Rick how much I liked it and he would kind of say yeah, yeah, yeah. I would say for real. I have never heard something this good. I went up loom by loom and realized that it could get better. I realized that if you paid good attention to your music how truly stunning it could be. The speed of the notes are just uncanny. Pianist Harold  Mabern is an example of how the initial impact of notes on this cable is uncanny. The speed upon which Mabern can play and how the high fidelity handles the notes are on a whole other level. Yeah I know I post on this thread a lot. I'm blessed to have met Rick and hear the product. Music is a part of my daily life and hearing it clear and open is a true delight. Enjoy everyone. Don't talk Just listen.
Very  happy with power conditioner. Low noise floor allows the rest of your system to play open and real. I guess that's what you can expect from the high fidelity stuff. Sound obsessed designer for sound obsessed audiophiles
It's kind of hard to say because that is a whole line of products you have been through. All I can say is that when compared to the other power conditioners I had it's not even close. The background is dead quiet and things are just clearer. I think it's well worth the investment. One thing I have always said about high fidelity is the the music comes out complete silence this keeps it even quieter. You just hear the musicians more. I used different powercords on it and it still helped the sound compared to the others

I was able to hear Rick's revamped system with King sound electrostat speakers. He added super tweeters and rel subwoofers and the system was cabled with All high fidelity stuff as well as the the new Pro Line series of high fidelity.  It was a great 4 hour listening session. We used the resonessence mirus dac as our source. We had music on the sd cards in 2xDSD. Carribean jazz project was just amazing in its sound quality. The clarity I heard was some of the best I heard ever. The flutes where riding on a soft airy cloud with detail though. The bells where tailing off in their decay. You could hear in between the sticks on percussion. You could also hear the texture and the inside of the drum. Very spacious sound with inky black backgrounds. We also listened to Ahmad Jamal's Album. "Saturday Morning". Jamal is 85 years old and has been recording for 70 years. He is a Jazz Pianist. With the Pro series cables is you could heard deep inside the piano to the complete bottom but also with speed when he tickle the keys fast and light. Great session with a great system.

@philipwu the HFC mc6 that I bought about a month ago has burned in.  I have about a hundred hours on it now.  It has really impressed me.  I was in the market for a good power conditioner at 1000 to 2500 range.  When this came out I was like this would be perfect to try. His products usually are clear open and have extremely low noise floors.  I switched from a furman and it is not even close. The high fidelity mc6 is a bargain at 999.00.  I hear instruments clearer and thing are quieter which held soundstage and background.  I had an extremely picky audiophile buddy over two weeks ago and after he heard he wanted one immediately. At the price point it's definitely worth the try.

I use a kr audio va 900 integrated amplifier.  I compared the mc6 to the furman elite pfi20 and the tributaries t-300 and the transparent power bank 10.   Mainly the furman.  I used a resonessence mirus dac and ear acute CD player.  I use gato fm6 speakers.  This conditioner just made things clearer. It's was more open and I could hear more of the instrument.  The power cables were clarity cable vortex, high fidelity ultimate and high fidelity ultimate helix.  I spent a lot of time a/b the sound differences. Also I had another friend who is pickier than I am swap stuff out and now he wants one.  I used to look at my power conditioner as a weak spot in my system.  Now I don't.  There is better separation as well in my sound so that's is my experience.
MC 6 power conditioner is fully burned in now. It has about 250 hours on it now.  Great power conditioner at this point. Very open and clear. I also agree with the immediacy description as for as how it makes the music sound.
You widow will enjoy the mc6.  It is a great value and provides a level of clarity that puts you closer to the music.  I was very happy that I could get this level of power conditioning for this price. It's a no brainer

Widow type in accidentally.   Lol.   I was just saying that the mc 6 is a great improvement value for those who are curious about high fidelity.  I'm really happy with mines.
HFC makes a great product. I have enjoyed the service I have gotten and the performance. Kudos to Rick.  They are other good cables out there but this has made a difference for my system.  Listen and enjoy if you like it. If you don't try something else.  Fun comparing and trying things.  It's part of our hobby.  Lol.

I was listening today and making comparisons between the high fidelity and some other cables and they just pull the music out more. They get they decay right and there is more air and space in the music. I slowed down on my listening for a while but went back tonight and it's just a great product.  I find myself ticking the volume up a little but the inner detail of this product as a whole is pretty amazing. I have high fidelity ultimate interconnects.

Well I read the stereophile review but I think all of us need to hear things for ourselves.  Art Dudley has years of experience and probably has a well trained ear.  I have enjoyed the product immensely. I think all of us should listen and make the choices for whatever we like.
Wow, this is why I don't post as much. Audiophiles think that Stereophile is the Bible of audio. It's a great publication but I don't take my sole advice from a magazine. I listen to as much as I can on my own.  I form my own opinions and I don't put too much emphasis on who is the King of the Audiophile kingdom. Lol.  I listen to my jazz and enjoy. This is the High Fidelity Thread. Not the Stereophile thread or Art Dudley Thread or the other magnetic thread etc. etc.. I have enjoyed the product so much. I'm not here to argue about a short demo done from a magazine. I have personally spent time with a lot of the High Fidelity products. I enjoy them. I spent a couple of months at a time with each for the most part. I will also continue to read Stereophile and re up my subscriptions for the next three years. I love Art Dudley and his articles.  I disagree on his High Fidelity evaluation.  Is this a real opinion or is someone just stirring the pot of doubt again. Man why does someone say this is the only professional review when there is more than 20 to 30 out here. I hope this thread doesn't go south with rants that have nothing to do with the product or the music. I'm out for a while because this one is headed in that direction.  Back to my lowly High Fidelity stuff. I guess I can't trust my own ear and enjoy anymore. This is funny.  Here comes the blah blah blah next!
Agreed! The review that is most important is your own!  You have to enjoy it or at least say what you like and don't like. Why someone reads somebody else's review and then take it as the gospel is just flat out weird. Anyway hope the thread doesn't get infected again!
Now it makes since. The only reason why comments were made about the high fidelity adapters is because Tara Labs is supposedly coming out with some. Everyone knows that you know who is a big fan of those.  I just wish people would post just about high fidelity and the product. Like it or don't like it. For those who haven't tried the adapters. Take a shot I think you will hear the difference.  I hate the negativity and trickery. Let's stay on topic. Thanks.

Hey fellas, I currently have my resonessence mirus  dac plugged into the Mc6 power conditioner. It added transparency to the mirus. The mirus was already great but when I put it with the mc6 it was spooky great. Gave instruments more air and even great depth and separation.  The mirus dac plus the mc6 is tough to beat at the price. I couldn't see myself plopping down more on a different power conditioner and dac combo.  Cymbal taps shimmer and float slowly into darkness.  Piano is quick but tuneful.  The backgrounds are quiet.  They are silent.  I'm current listening to Marc johnson and Elaine Elias.  After a long week it's a joy to listen at this level.

I plugged my integrated into another power conditioner and the music lost air and soundstage depth. The mc 6 draws the music out.
