High Fidelity Cable Company MC 0.5 waveguide

      I'm thinking of getting another MC.05 I haven't decided on which one yet. Maybe someone here could steer me into which one. 
I have right now 1 Mc.05 helix Signature in the outlet feeding my system.
I have a surge protector strip should the new mc.05 be put in another outlet on the same line as the first one feeding system. Or in the surge protector strip to give me the best result ?

           Morning, you obviously hsve more experience but I'm curious why that configuration works better, if its the same line feeding the system wouldnt it be the same? 
My understanding is the magnetic force works through the line in the wall once plugged in to the outlet. 
Am I wrong ?

Great, reason I thought in the surge protector strip was a review from a guy in Japan on the HFC webpage said he put one in outlet the other in the strip closest to the source outlet ? 
Just figured with all you have in your system you've tried all spots... lol thxs

              After reading everyones feed back I'm alittle confused, at my age 63. I'm not sure I will hear a difference in a reg. Mc .05 vs Mc 05 helix signature which I have one already, I was thinking a reg one but with you guys having 48, 16, 12 mc 05s sounds like its very minimal change if at all.
Sounds like the pro1 makes a huge jump, just didnt want to spend that amount. I see its a great deal right now so Im kinda stuck in my mind. Lol
Any help here would be great..

@68pete Thxs for the help Pete, I’ve been amazed at the sound quality since I’ve had my one MC .05 helix sig in place since April 2020 without moving it. Not sure my old ears can hear it get any better then it is. Lol
I have Klipsch horns now, like I told Rick its pretty darn good to my ears now. But son of a gun it improved. Wow. That’s only one... Dang. 😊
But separation is magnified 10 fold, hearing things I never heard before in the music.
Tap some old 60s music I said to myself, was the music recorded in a better way then todays music ? I’m perplexed in How, pinpoint laser electrons do that much to the signal & sound. Well I’m enjoying except for neighbors won’t let me listen at high level. But its ok. Lol Rock on guys.

I ordered another MC .05 helix signature just waiting on it. I guess the black friday was a big success for HFC company, waiting is 3 weeks before its mailed out.
Cant wait for it but then wait 400hrs to hear if it improves any in my system. I will be amazed if it does improve since it sounds pretty awesome right now.
Was just enjoy some old Leon Russell & Van Morrison songs. 😊

Well I plugged the regular Mc 05 in another outlet on the same line, its been in since 12/16 7pm. Just listened for a bit I haven't noticed anything yet, but funny thing happened I ordered this reg. one then called in a few days later and changed it to another Mc 05 helix sig. 
Then when it came it was the reg. one I was surprised I noticed when going to plug it in the outlet.
So I called the nxt day, spoke to Casey great people work there. He gave me a deal on the one I have now & helix sig is on its way. 
Not sure if I'm going to really hear a difference, it sounds pretty damn good. I think since the second one is plugged in I think I did notice a drop in volume slightly. But I'm sure as the first one it will rebound at a higher volume, so I will back it down a couple notches again. Lol
I'm not an expert but this product deffinitely changed my system for the better. At first I didn't believe that was possible, I'm cooking up my crow right now. Lol
Well, either my hearing is improving as I listen or this product works !

Ok I bought one both in the same outlet as the first one for 8mths. Q? So now that I unplugged it for 10secs does it start all over, time wise.

Well 68pete yesterday sat down listened for about an hour, it didnt sound good to me compared to days before new mc .05 was plugged in same outlet as first mc05 helix signature, wonder how long with the regular mc05 will take to dial back into original sound.
Funny thing I spent extra money on a audiophile outlet then put a 2.00 adapter in the path. Crazy.
