Hifiman Arya Stealth and Hifiman EF are magic together
So I’m pretty new to this audiophile thing so forgive me if I’m not fully detailed! I just recently purchased the Stealth from bloom audio and paired it with the EF 400 dac amp I’ve owned for a while now. And I’m enjoying the hell out of this combo. I also own the Audeze MM 500s. Those are a lot more detailed and better at vocals and mid range, but I actually prefer the sound of the Aryas on this. More dynamic and the bass slams! Soundstage is wide but not 800s level. Great purchase. I love my Auduze as well! I think they sound better on my Mojo 2. But I think I found my endgame, with the Arya and 500’s and don’t have no desire to spend 6000 on something like the Susvara. As long as my ears are happy that’s the most important thing when it comes to music.

@soix Ha, I of course understand what you are saying. Just think planting a little upgrade seed might be speeding up the process. No problem at all
@jetter You misread my intent, and as I stated I own the same headphones and love them. But in this hobby it’s very frequent to get “the itch” to upgrade and I was merely pointing out that the HE1000 is much better and can be had for only $99 more than the Arya Stealths open box and not necessary to step up to the $6000 Susvara for a meaningful upgrade. That’s all. Frankly, for almost the same price I wish I bought the HE1000 v2 open box from Hifiman and at some point will probably do just that.
@soix The OP just made his first post ever on Audiogon showing his love of his gear
Why throw a wet blanket on his gear that he can do better and/ or the same for less?
I got this,. |
