HiDiamond Power cords...

Has anyone tried the Power 3,2,1 power cords from HiDiamond. If so can you explain in best detail the qualities, strengths and which component you chose it on. I'm also curious which cords they compare to within the market.

Barcardi,

With my Synergistic Research Powercell 10 SE Mk.III that I got recently, it came with a 32-amp Element Copper/Tungsten Power cord instead of the Tesla Precision AC power cord. Let me tell you, this newer Element power cord is incredible and out performs the Tesla power cables in everyway. The same way that the Element speaker cable and interconnect line beats the previous Tesla line. I have my doubts now that the HiDiamond can beat this NEW cord from Synergistic.

I have a feeling like I did with the Tesla line years ago that the NEW Element line is going to be a huge success.

I'm going to order one HiDiamond Power 3 power cord and test it against the whole line of new Element power cords from Synergistic. I'm being sent to DEMO in my system Element Hologram A and Element Hologram D and also Element Copper (T2 Equivalent) and Element Tungsten (T3 equivalent). I'm using The Cable Company as my lender.

A full review will follow soon. Thanks ;-)
Synergistic has just released an entirely new line of power cables. Has anyone here heard the new Synergistic Research Element Hologram A and D and also the Element Copper, Element Tungsten and Element Copper/Tungsten power cords? And yes, these are replacing the older Tesla line of power cables. More importantly has anyone COMPARED these to HiDiamond? Cost set a side...until you try them in your system and hear for yourself, No one can conclude that HiDiamond's power cord is better than Synergistic's Element power cables.

Sabai, as to your claim, that so many audiophiles are raving about HiDiamond. Well I can only find a handful, as in less then 5 people shilling HiDiamond while attempting to tear down competing brands. This smells fishy to me.
Sabai, everyone seems to have strong opinions’ here about power cables and so do you. It looks like to me from reading your posts that you are HiDiamond's biggest cheerleader. There is nothing wrong with that. I definitely don’t agree that any tides have turned. HiDiamond is just another cable manufacturer as there are many many other very good companies out there. (Many you and I have not even heard of) Everyone has a preference on this subject.
Same here, if anyne intends to sell a HiDiamond Power 3 PC, let me know. I'd love to try it in one of my lesser systems.

I jusr found out HiDiamond is now making a better Power Cable than the Power 3. Looks like you all have to spend cash to upgrade. All cable companies are the same. LOL!
I highly recommend that anyone with Tesla line Power Cables to audition the new Element Power cables.

I upgraded to Element Power Cords. The new Element CTS Analogue and Digital power cords and Element Copper/Tungsten Power Cord with 32-amp connecter on the Powercell 10SE Mk.III Power Conditioner. These NEW power cords are completely different than the Tesla line and are much more open and quieter with an increase detail cause blacker background. Complete system upgrade over the Tesla line Power Cables!!!
Bacardi, you should think before you type. You did the same thing as you accuse me. Look at your post in a Synergistic Research forum thread on 11-20-12 about trying HiDiamond. So I can suggest my opinions here and any thread I choose. That is what this website is for.

Well, I heard the HiDiamonds. They are impressive and very good. But I.M.O I think Synergistic Research Element Series Power cables blows the HiDiamond and Tesla Series power cords out of the ocean. The Synergistic Research Element Series Tungsten Power cable at $900 per cable is cheaper than a HiDiamond P4 ($2,000). Even a better match is the Element Copper/Tungsten Power Cord ($1,800) Vs. a HiDiamond P4 ($2,000). Call The Cable Company or your local Synergistic Dealer and demo them against each other and you will see which one you prefer. For me, the Synergistic cable is cheaper and better. In my system, I noticed the clear winner. Not until you try them you will not know which is better for you. Also, look at the prices and compare them. Both companies have similar prices for power cables and Synergistic has a cheaper cable the beats the P4. Therefore, your comments on cost do not make sense to me.

I suggest everyone to try the Element series power cables and choose which one you like better. I did. Thank you.
Had floorplanner, Ozzy, Barcardi compare the NEW Synergistic Research Element Power Cords to P3 and P4 directly in their systtems??

I had a P4 lent to me by a friend and bought a P3 used. I compared them to the new Synergistic Research Element Powe Cords and I preferred and liked the Element Series over the HiDiamond. In my system and I.M.O. Synergistic is better. And comparing the prices, they very similar. Actually, the P4 is $200 MORE than the Element Copper/Tungsten Power Cord. And the P3 at $750 I did prefer the comparable Synergistic Element cords at $600 and $900 per cord much better. I.M.O. Replacing my ststem with HiDiamond cables cost just as much replacing with Synergistic Element cables. I chose what was better for me. Thank you.
Bacardi, check out the new Modwright Oppo 105 with Tube power supply. If yours is not already, Modwright can upgrade your unit. I had my Sony 5400 upgraded and it sounds better than any other source I've tried. I'm sure the new modified 105 is even better.
