Help---What happens when a tube

Hello all--

I just came back home and notived my MHZS 66 CD player was off--Power was on! I have had the CD player on for almost a month to break it in!
Do not have extra tubes on hand yet!

Is this what happens when a 12AX7 tube blows? I am oalmost off my 30-day
trial of this player and may just have to send it back--?

Any thoughts----

Thanks------you ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE IT BUT--
MY DAUGHTER TURNED OF THAT OUTLET THAT WAS SWITCHED!

I am ready to tube roll---this is a fantastic player---
What would you try putting money aside for 12ax7's

I need to buy some different ones to try!
