Help No corners for my Klipschorns

First and foremost I would like to thank anyone that takes the time to read this and any help is greatly appreciated. I am in the process of building a home theater and I want to use my K-Horns up front along with either a Lascala or a Belle for a center channel. My problem is I don't have any corners for the K-Horns!!! I did read an article a while back where K-Horn owners actually built walls right to the speaker itself. Anyone that has experience with this type of application could you please let me know if it worked for you and what kind of material would you recommend for the best possible sound. Also how much sound quality am I sacrificing?
Thanx

Paul W. Klipsch successfully built "false corners" & published details (dimensions, suggested materials) to construct them without sacrificing bass response. They're in his "Dope from Hope" articles.

Check the Klipsch website FORUM & check their archives to get an electronic copy of the "false corners" Dope from Hope (Vol 15, No. 5).

If no luck, contact me via e-mail & I'll send or fax you a copy.

Eddie:

The Khorns NEED to be in corners (and snugly at that!)to sound their best. Building false corners is not difficult, but they need to run several feet in both directions. The bass performance will suffer greatly without corner placement.
