I WANT TO TRY BI AMPING 3.6 MAGGIES, I WILL NOT BE USING A SUB , I WANT TO SEE WHAT DISTRIBUTING THE LOAD WILL DO. SUGGESTIONS ON WIRING THIS CONFIGURATION AND MID RANGE AMP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED . DO I NEED A EXTERNAL XO? WHAT SAY YOU ?
Should make a big difference. External Xover a must! Could try Bryston or Pass, or Marchand (just OK), or get a custom one built by Tom Tutay (highly recommended). Try a Bryston 4B-ST for the lower end.
