sgordon Thank you no I do not have a Talisman, I would try some day.
|
audiolens, to me the Talisman is indispensable. Assuming you have one, isn't the five seconds per side well worth the time and effort? |

@isai- So, is your universe SUSY, a multiverse, a big ball of strings, or- a combination? Any uncertainty? Do we have free will(at least the autonomy to experiment)? Were your conclusions preordained? Perhaps, they were based on the eye of the beholder? Just curious, as to your take(s). |
sgordon1 I wonder if my iQSE inside my CD player do like a constant demagnetizer, so the use of Talisman wont be as important ? |
sgordon1 Thank you for your experimentations, yes I also noticed improvement under power bar and under power amp. After a few months, I have the chance to try 2 other QSE, and I had tried them on the electrical panel cover. I had taped them with electrica tape, one at the bottom where the main electrical input, and where my dedicated AC stereo wire come out. And the other at he top of the electrical pamel cover. It improved specialy the component that did not have a QSE yet. So these two add a general electrical treatment to all my system. As you had mentioned with the CD treatment, probably it probably relates to magnetism ? |
i think i'll cut one in small pieces and swallow them...this way i'll be energized at all times...:) |
I like and use both versions. Happiest with suspending a QSE with string so that it rests above the area where cds play in my machine. This way, I have the advantage of its magnetic influence without the consequences of the QSE coming in contact with the player (which affects the sound in a different way). In other applications, the contact is fine, too, like on top of the ends of power cords, interconnects, and speaker cables.
Also, try the QSE under a piece of electronics. And, try resting a cd on a QSE (switching sides after 15 seconds) before playing it. Can you hear a difference, this way? I also use a Walker Talisman before every single play...

iasi It depend of many factors, electricty quality, and the stereo sound system... A friend also had try, but have had different impact according to his components... But he keeps 2 of them instaledl in his system... |
A friend of mine asked me to evaluate the iQSE in my system. He gave me 4 of them and I placed them inside my CD player, and on top of my power conditioner.....ZERO effect...i have an advanced degree in quantum physics and I will not comment on the mambo-jumbo explanations from Bybee site, but what i can comment on is that these 'gizmos' didn't have any impact on the quality of the sound...did blind testing with 2 of my audiophile friends and none of us could discern any positive or negative influence on the music... That being said, if others believe that they hear a difference, by all means, let them buy...:) |

James Clerk Maxwell, Thomas Alva Edison and Lee DeForest would be appalled by the rising tide of b*ll sh*t in today's audio scene! AC receptacles that need "burn in"! LOL!!! |
"I'm an audiophile and I'm looking for the perfect power cord to take my system to the next level". LOL!!! |
The road to Audio Nirvana is long - and infinite - indeed! And it all started way back in 1877 when Mr. Edison successfully recorded and played back his own voice on a wax cylinder reciting "Mary had a little lamb"! Jeopardy Question: What was the first audio recording? A historic fact that most so-called audiophiles are ignorant of! |
Hi roberjerman,
Sorry, you have mentionned "Self Desillusion", yes, you are right again, because it is a long way to the music Saint Graal achievements |
Hi roberjerman, You are correct when you mention
« Illusion », because sound system is just an illusion of
what we can hear in a concert hall. So, what I am trying to do, is
only helping others music lovers, to try achiving their own goals...
tend to the best music fidelity...
