Has anyone used the new Innuos 2.0 Sense music app? Compared it to Roon?

I compared the two as I am a lifetime Roon customer.  I prefer the sound of the new Innuos Sense music app.  More natural and less electronic or digital sounding.  Not day and night, but better. My big issue is Innuos Sense does not seem to keep playing music, like Roon, when the album is complete.  Roon had a Radio switch that played artists similar to the artist as a continuous stream and I loved it.  Heard many new artists I loved this way.
Anyone know if Innuos Sense has a similar setting? I can’t seem to find it.

Been using Roon with my Zenith Mk3 for six months.

Having switched to Sense 3 days ago, I agree with comments by Grannyring  and the hifi veterinarian:  Sense is Sensational.  It is a huge deal.  I too am beside myself.  Grinning and shaking my head in utter disbelief.

Gone is a quantity of digital glare, noise or whatever that is hard to come to grips with.  Innuos Sense has put the SQ of my system into a different league.  Maybe there is more improvement to be had with things such as ENO but this improvement has caught me by surprise.  So…it turns out that as good as I thought my integrated, Zenith and speakers sounded.  I had no clue as to their true capability.  Now I have a much better sense of it.  Ohhh, that pun was not intended.  Lol.

Anzaanimal, earlier today I was talking about how much this amount of  SQ improvement would cost.  Several thousands for sure.  A person I know who moved from Zen mk3 to Zenith Mk3 said the bump in SQ provided by Sense is WAY WAY bigger.

Anza…..”relaxing and dreamy” nails it.

In the last 6 weeks I’ve added a Puritain 156 and now Sense.  An embarrassment of riches…..Sonically.  The Puritan provides so much improvement at a price that makes it a terrific value.  And Sense is free but delivers like it costs a king’s ransom.

I thanked my dealer, the Innuos team and am so glad I chose this unit.
I downloaded 2.0.7 few hours ago and i think Qobuz SQ may have improved.

However, I’m being cautious in reaching that conclusion because in a 2-day period ending yesterday, I changed two cords (each fully broken in, however) and raised my speakers enough to matter.  I listened at length to those changes yesterday and rather briefly again today before the update.  My first thought upon hearing 2.0.7 was “did that update just improve my SQ?”

Had no time to listen at length.  Will do so later.

Hope others share their findings.

Chilehed,

Very well said about the improving Sense app and positive overall Innuos ownership experience.  Sense, for me, is knocking it down!

I’m learning how to use it better, also.  And though I’ve not used Roon since Sense came out, I was having lots of connectivity and other issues.  Lots.  My phone was often unusable, whereas iPad was much better. Updates may have fixed much of it.

I don’t have a lifetime Roon license, so I view this differently than if I did.  And SQ is the priority.

The edit feature is not letting me correct my typos.  I hope what I intended is discernible.
Since my mast post I recalled an example of the headaches I was having with Roon—aside from crazy-bad connectivity problems.  I could never pull up “History”.  History is so accessible with Sense. And I personally find it useful to have instant access to what I played in the past.

And with respect to music discovery: I have found good songs/artists by looking into the Qonuz playlists.presented thru Sebse.  One new one is the James Bond playlist.  I found a track by Iggy Pop called “James Bond”, which led me to his album called “Free”.  Beautiful recording quality.  At minimum, JB is an extremely effective track for assessing vocals and low frequency.  Seriously one of the best.  And the other songs are original in the extreme.
Several hours ago I got a beta version of an update that will be available for all Innuos users next week. I presume there may be others who have received it. It was offered after an email exchange with Nuno concerning issues with albums not being available for play. After clicking on an album, a banner appeared stating “album not found”. The update eliminated the problem.

Best news is that it brings us another improvement in SQ. Really really nice one. Noise floor lower. Glare reduced by a lot. Better in virtually every audiophile parameter. For a guy that spins no vinyl (streaming only), I will sound Ike a broken record in saying it as I’ve said before: a jump in SQ like this would cost a nice piece of change. Had I added an ethernet filter or some dialed in room acoustics that cost a pretty penny, I’d be fully satisfied. That it was free…..beyond satisfied, of course.  And no effort to shop gear, hope I chose well, what if I don’t love it? Nope. Just download an update and be wowed. Pretty darn nice, in my opinion.
I am not a beta tester.  Fix was offered after reporting the issue in detail.  I’m glad I took the time to do so.
