Has Anyone Tried Different Spikes With Their Stands?

howdy,  I'm using the Pangea DS400 stands on carpet to concrete slab. just curious if anyone has changed their spikes on their stands to different ones like stainless steel, brass or anything other than the standard ones that came with them?  and if so, what if any was the results?  thanks in advance.
