Yes. And it does. On Planet Utopia. The Nowhere land where everyone flies to work on a unicorn and Coca-cola comes out of every faucet. $18k should buy me a beautiful speaker, beautiful car, and three beautiful women. A house. And beautiful wife to clean it. Should is my favorite word in the English language. So infinitely useful.

Meanwhile, back on planet Earth: Functionality is what it's all about. Sound quality. The most sound quality for the money.

You can have your Faberge Egg. You can even tell yourself it sounds good. For $180k it should sound as good as the $18k Tekton. There's that word again. It should.

Good luck with that.

Not dipole. The back firing drivers are for ambience. Don't even know if in or out of phase. The one guy who has them hasn't said much other than how awesome they are. He is also doing a crossover upgrade similar to mine, only better. A bona-fide SOTA sound quality speaker, without the Faberge Egg price tag.

Check out the Tekton Owner's Group on FB. The Matrix LS was built as a custom order for one of our members. Similar to ordering a Moab with all-Be, it has an additional Be tweeter and midrange driver radiating fill on the back. This worked out so well Eric decided to make it the first in his Signature line.

His is the only one we know for sure has been made, and he is pretty darn pleased with the results. Which were good enough for Eric to make it a model. Check it out on FB.
