Has anyone done a shootout with the vpi classic?

I am curious what turntables have been compared side by side with the vpi classic? And the results.

But many people and even ones with other vpi models love this unit. One Goner who did not like any of the other vpi offerings loves this table. I would take that as a strong possitive.

It is my seventh VPI, the others (2 jrs, Mark III, Mark IV, original Aries and TNT HR6). I liked them all and loved the Aries and TNT. I'm interested to hear how it compares. Wendell
