Has anyone bi-amped a Tannoy ?
Hi,
I am a Tannoy Prestige Turnberry SE owner. It is well known that Tannoy recommends bi-wiring their speakers. I have tried it and it really makes a big difference. Going to the next level Tannoy also recommends bi-amping. Has anyone actually tried it ? Tannoys are known to be quite efficient. A good 100-150 watt amps is mostly what it needs for most domestic purpose. Going bi-amped means going for a good 4 X 100 watts amp powering these (already efficient) speakers. How far will this actually benefit the Tannoys, anyone ?
