Hagerman cable burn

The latest is FryBaby3 and FryCorder2.  Worth the money?

Don’t ever use one (any cable burner) on a liquid metal audio cable.

Just a note for those who may read the thread.

Other than that caveat...for 'solidus' metals, a cable burner, properly applied, can be, IMO and IME -- a good thing.
I use a conditioner on cables I built. I don't burn them in nor does any body else. 1000 of times the normal duty cycle are piped through a newly constructed cable. The different constructs, terminal ends and covers ALL need to settle, and break in.

I don't care what it is made out of. There is no hook up and drop.
Cables that are conditioned and then broken in take less time and sound consistent with a simular sonic signature. The inconsistency between a pair of cable can be an issue to.

I've had terminal ends that looked exactly the same but the silver  cladding was 5 times thicker over the copper. They sound different..

One thing I try to do, no mater what. MATCH parts.. Visually,  production time and stay away from solder if I can and cold weld with contact enhancers..

I've found like most any thing else things can be explained.

The DIFFERENT SQ that a lot of folks attribute to a cable can just as much be attributed to the individual "worker" building the very same cable.. Two different assemblers two different sounds...

The same goes for conditioning the cables. one manufacture may not condition cables another my condition for 1000 hours on top of a 100 hour break in..

You don't think two of the same cable won't sound different with different conditioning times?.

Everything need time in a system to sound as it should.. It's not magic, but it does take a little time.. THE DIFFERENCE in time sounds different.. :-)
If you believe that wire needs to be "burnt in" boy do I have a nice bridge for sale!

No CABLES need to be BROKEN IN..

I see reading comprehension is a HUGH challenge for you also.

It's not WIRE it's a cable, you really need to start paying attention.

Set in the corner and LISTEN!

You have two ears and ONE mouth, use them accordingly.

Semi Regards that's a 5 out of 10 on the regard scale..
I have a set of the Hagermen cookers. I use them on new cables and power cords. I also use them every six months to recondition them. I have been doing this for years and it works.
I have frybaby 3 and did a pair of az's that ive used for well over 15 yrs's.I read that cables need reconditioning every so often....so after minimal amount of time i put them (az's) back in system and they do have a little more snap to them, cymbals crisper...im in.
