Gyro SE, Bagwell, please see this

Hello, How much difference does the power supply option for the Gyro SE make?? Does it make more of a difference than a good phono section? Trying to buy the one that makes the most difference first. Thanks Richard

A2z: I have an older Gyro, which I have been very happy with. Before Michell came out with the dedicated power supply, a manufacturer of line conditioners in Canada designed a conditioner for use with the Gyro. I am currently using an Innouye conditioner with my table and it is a considerable improvement over the Gyro plugged into the wall. Ironically, my CD player does not sound better through the conditioner and I have it (and my integrated amp) plugged directly into the wall. My guess is that Michell (or their distributor Artech Electronics) would recommend you go for the power supply first, then upgrade your phono stage. Blake
I just purchased my TT from Oliver at Delve Audio. He is a stand up guy who delivers the goods at a good price. The web site is Delveaudio.com. If you have a problem finding it go to the analog section of audiogon and click on to the audio stores and scroll to Delve audio. Also you might want to check out JA Michell's web site. There is a review of the power supply. I think it will be my next purchase.I just got my Gyro set up and it's not broke in and I'm in love. Best Regards Richard Central Calif.
