Grounding boxes which ones have YOU tried? And results?

Just curious have never tried the many grounding devices that can be found on the web from companies such as: Synergistic Research, TELOS, Entreg, Nordost - QRT, Audio Magic -Blue Dot Eliminator, Signal Ground Solution or many DIY. Do they do what is claimed? Are they worth the $$ which are from a few hundred to many, many thousands! Which units have you tried/used and what were your results?

I wanted to try the small Entreq, but Cable Company said it was special order only.  I ended up buying an Akiko ground stick with an RCA jack and I think it refines the sound to some degree.  They offer 90 day returns as I recall, so there's minimal risk.
@jdane - ground lifting means buying an adaptor plug without a ground pin and sticking it on the end of one of the power cords until you find the one causing the hum.  It is not the optimum cure, but it is worth a try.

@jdane - AFAIK, the ground boxes most of us are talking about are not meant to cure earth ground hum, which needs to be addressed separately through ground lifting or whatever. This thread is about what is referred to as "signal grounding", which I'm not sure even exists in engineering as separate from earth grounding.   Without getting into a debate, let me just say that some people believe that a separate ground box improves the sound, but I don't think it will cure hum.
