Drain gets connected at the source end.
Ground / drain wire?
Hello all,
Just a quick question. I have a pair of synergistic research alpha x2 interconnects. I got them from someone who cut the rca's off to use elsewhere. I noticed that there is a ground/drain wire within the cable. I am going to re terminate these cables. Question is, which end does the drain wire get soldered to the rca and which end gets left off?
Thanks

There is also an argument that connecting both ends is the best. The below link explains the why... http://audio-forum.gspaudio.co.uk/the-rfi-problem_topic59_page1.html |
