Grado headphones, RS1-x comfortable L cushions

I am new to building an audio (desktop) system and have (2 years ago) finally purchased RS-2e and hope to also purchase an RS-1x during the upcoming 12 months.  I need advice about replacing the standard L cushion for the RS-1x cup size that is comfortable and will not alter the sound signature that I simply love.  May anyone help?
