Thank you for your advice. The Audiogon administrators have not given an update on their progress on the issue, so it appears to be the users problem to now solve.

+1, I agree and took some action. I added 1Blocker to my iPhone and, it seems, the Audiogon ads have been blocked.  It sure makes reading the forums must easier.  I have 1Blocker for 14-days free and then there is a one time charge of $39.99. I need to decide if I should pay or not.

Thank you for offering up this solution. Until recently reading comments on here was niggle free. It looks like ads are now the main disrupters out there.
