Getting the Ol system out

Ok I am going to look for a set of speakers soon. Vandersteen CE2, or 3a, Paradigm Studio 60 v5 come to mind. This will be for music. I also may get my Dennon 2560 reworked or look for something newer that could be better...... What would you guys suggest. I don’t want a bright speaker.
This is a list of what I have to work with getting back into the music.

Adcom GFP 565
3- Adcom GFA 555 ll
2 Adcom GFA 565 ll reworked with better capacitors.
Dennon 2560
Bowers Wilkens ASW10cm S2
M&K MX 2000 probably better for home theater

The Ol KEF and Vandersteens I had sounded great with these. Guy at Best Buy was trying to talk me into some Martin Logan’s. The sounded good and had decent soundstage. But I think I could do better for the money. What do you guys think? Suggestions on newer speakers or older ones? Suggestion on a new CD player?
