If you are saying that the guy's wife is the same woman as the dancer, I suspect that you've misplaced your glasses :-) BTW, it can be inferred from one of the comments appearing beneath the video that the young lady is a professional dance instructor. Hi Geoff, My curiosity having been piqued by your and Zeph's posts, I found the credits for the ad here (click the "read more" link). The wife is played by an accomplished actress and filmmaker, who it can be readily determined is about 46 years old. The dancer is played, as I had indicated, by a professional dance instructor who it can be readily determined is 28, and who also happens to be a graduate of a very prestigious liberal arts college. Ct0517, I enjoyed your wittily written post. And thanks for not shooting the messenger who caused you to lose the bet :-) To complete the descriptions of who's who in the video, as Geoff indicated the fellow playing the husband is a professional actor. I was particularly impressed with how well done the subtle movements of his eyes and mouth were during the early parts of the ad. The other fellow is the founder and CEO of the Connecticut-based firm which produces and manages Axpona, as well as other trade shows and conferences. The woman in the background is his "content and marketing director." Hey Michael (Swampwalker), did you notice the indication at the end of the ad of where it was filmed? I haven't ever been there, but in prior decades I've spent much time at its local competitor, Take5 Audio. For that matter, just about everyone involved in the ad, including the people who produced and directed it as well as all of the cast other than the actors playing the husband and wife, are from not far away in our home state. Hmmm, if I weren't happily married (to a good dancer, as it happens), I just might be thinking of taking dancing lessons right about now :-) Best regards, -- Al |
