The bottom line is that Wilson is a great company producing great products. That is why Wilson is so successful. Do you really think thousands of people own and love Wilson because they suck? Come on seriously. Doesn’t mean there aren’t other great speakers out there, there are. However that doesn’t take away anything that Wilson is. Also great electronics with poor speakers doesn’t equate to great sound, the speaker has to be able to reveal the greatness of the electronics in front of it. The worst thing is to have a very revealing speakers with poor or lesser electronics in front of them. I’ve had several Wilson speakers in my home over the years from the Sabrina X to the Alexx V and everything in between: Sasha DAW, Alexia 2 and Alexia V . I’ve tried other speakers as well in between those like Martin Logan, Quad, Sonus Faber, Dynaudio but every time I go back to Wilson I’m always glad to be back. I recently went from the Sonus Faber Nova III to the Sabrina X and that Wilson sound just does the trick. Wilson speakers are very engaging for me. I’m sure there are other speakers that can do that too I just haven’t owned them. Maybe Mágico, or Focal would be interesting. The point is that Wilson is a great speaker and a great company that’s an undeniable fact even if you dislike them.
Fleetwood Deville vs Wilson Sound
Both are great speakers. I was always curious about Wilson speakers especially because some people really hate on them.
Anyone compare the Fleetwood Deville vs Wilson Sasha Tier?
How would you describe the differences in own words?
The Devilles make female vocals sound quite stunning, and am unsure if I would like that "crisp clear hifi" sound that Wilsons have.
Opinions?
