Feickert Woodpecker vs Acoustic Signature Double X

I'm considering upgrading my turntable to either a Feickert Woodpecker upgraded platter and Kuzma Stogi S 12 arm with on the fly VTA or the Acoustic Signature Double X with the T-1000 arm. Would appreciate your recommendations.

Audiosaurusex, I live 8 miles east of 93 exit 3, about a 2 1/2 hour drive from where you are about 1/2 way to the lake.
At that price point I’d suggest you take a look at the Sempersonus TE-2. Paired with an Origin Live, Brinkmann or TW Raven arm and a cartridge that compliments your system I think you would be extremely pleased.
I have never heard the AS. I have heard and enjoyed the sound of the Woodpecker with Kuzma arm. I believe it was a 12" Unipivot. I eventually bought a Stabi Ref2 with the Gimbal Ref 313 VTA arm, and I'm quite happy. Being that you're looking at non suspended tables, the Stabi R may be a future consideration. It seems to me like the Kuzma tables have not caught on like their arms in the US. That's just my observation, as I  have no sales numbers to back it up. Of course Franc didn't have a table in the $5-8K range until 2018 when the R was introduced. I ordered my Stabi Ref 2 blind, and have to say it looks a lot better than in does in photos. For some reason, photos don't do the table any justice.
@mijostyn I’m in Westport Mass but I go up to Winnipesaukee for the summers. Are you up in NH?
You are better off with the Acoustic Signature pair. Better arm.
Frank Kuzma is an interesting fellow. He will make anything just to say he's done that. Some of his gear is top notch like the 4 Point arms. Some not so hot like the Stogi S. I also think the Acoustic Signature is the better looking turntable. It has more of a precision air about it. Handsome table!.
Audiosaurusrex, you live in NH??
I can speak for the AS line. I have Triple X with the 12” TA 1000. It is simply amazing, speed accurate and build/engineering is top notch. Double X is also a mass turntable and does not suffer from any vibrations, rumble  or noise. I love my Triple and it truly is a thing of beauty! Customer support has been solid too. I had an issue initially with the motor that was probably damaged in shipping and Fidelis sent out a new one no questions asked.
