Good stuff @akg_ca
but is there not an issue with using a cat 8 cable with metal ends, in that it grounds both devices which may nullify the galvanic isolation of the DAC it plugs into?
I have read that cat 5/6 is best for this reason, but this cable does not have the shielding of a cat 8.
