I have had three sets of Sonus Faber, currently Amati Traditional. If I decided to upgrade I would look up a couple levels in SF. To me they have a uniquely natural sound. I have read about Esteon and particularly given your amp, sounds like a great fit. But of course speakers are highly personal.
The difference in appearance is so striking, I am surprised these two come under the same persons interest. I would think one would be drawn to one type or the other. My house long ago became a collection point of antique oak and French oil paintings… so my choice of SF follows a long tradition of aesthetic choices. But sound wise… I bet either are great, but different.
