Esoteric K03XD filters

I don’t think anyone who isn’t a chip engineer can explain what those filters do.  That’s why they don’t try to explain in the manual.  Just do what the last line says:

Select the sound setting you prefer

And you may not have a preference.  Just listen to each setting for a while and see if one reduces sibilance or offers some other improvement.

@tomcy6  I’ve heard it takes 200 hours per filter to burn them in. It’s going to be a long enjoyable process!

baclagg +1 each setting change gets better with time. and yes its what you like best no wrong or right answer. You could like one for Jazz and a different one for Rock. Does it also give you the choice of sample rates? these too will need break in time. Its a great disc player enjoy
