I can't compare the Esoteric to the SF gear you have, but have lived with the esoteric DV-50 for several years and have no intention of replacing it unless I go to something like the EMM Labs separates.
Esoteric DV50 vs sonic frontiers sfd2mk2
I have an opportunity to sell my Sonic Frontiers SFD2mk2 and Mac 751 transport and get an Esoteric DV50 in their place. It would feed a ARC ls5mk3, levinson 436's and B&W 802N's and be used as a cd playeronly.Anyone familiar with both? I would hope the Esoteric would kill the older piece but need some advice since I cant get both units in the same room.
