I've come to the conclusion and confirmed that the Class D power supply in the Gen3 Amp is not from any of the top Class D maker's. Upon further investigation, to my surprise, that the Class D power supply in the Gen3 Amp is actually the power motor for a North Korean lawn mower.
EMOTIVA GOES CLASS D
What's that under the hood of the new Emotiva XPA Gen3 Amp? Hmmm...is that a class D switching amp? Yup! Sure is. The new model is available in two or up to seven channels. The two channel amp is $899.00.
Looking at the pics of the Class D power module does not look like any models from B&0, Anaview, Pascal or Ncore. The Class D power supply works with the Emotiva soft switch Class H power supply resulting in a cool running product. Has anyone heard or have inside info on this new amp?
