Elac Carina 247.4 vs Vela 407

Hi, anyone has experience comparing Elac's Carina vs Vela can share your experience on how the two lines differ?  I currently own (and love) Vela BS403 and would like to try floorstanding speaker for bolder sound, better mid vs bass separation and stronger + deeper bass, but due to limited $ I'm contemplating on settling for Carina line vs Vela.  Thanks ahead.
