easy way to make dipole Linaeums to monopole?

I just bought pair of Optimus LX-5II on E-bay. I have heard Monopole Linaeums and loved the sound. These sound good but not that much depth, air, and detail, as those had. I saw mention of Dick Olsher mod. Did he do that? Where would I find this Mod?
