Dynavector Cartridge Cabling

I own a DV-XX-2 ii cartridge. I recently discovered that left and right channel connection at the cartridge pins (colour coding) are reversed compared to other cartridges i own (Benz, Goldring, Van den Hull … ) . Hearing into a test LP confirms that left and right channel are swapped. I use a SME Bayonett connection and leave the cables as is on the headshell.

it would mean, the cabling inside the cartridge would be wrong?

Anybody who can clarify that Mysterium? Thanks.

There is the SME pin configuration standard on the tonearm bayonet fitting - in other words the tonearm end of the cartridge leads.

I cant recall any tonearms other than the EMT ( uses a diamond pin layout )that are not to SME pin layout.

Neither is wrong - there are no standards.

If you look at an Ortofon 2M for example, the pins are different again from all of your cartridges +ve pins on one side, -ve pins on the other.

Denon 103 different again from any of the above mentioned.
