I have heard them as part of a very high end system and thought they lacked musical engagement.Something stilted and mechanical sounding about them.That might have been the system and room though.I felt that the addition of a really good tube preamp might have helped them to open up and be a bit more expressive.I love the Confidence series Dyns so it surprised me that the Evidence Masters sounded so bland.
