The Modwright swl 9.0 se has great bass. Not really a tubey sound, just enough to take away some digital glare on top and add a bit of richness to the mids of an organ otherwise it kind of sounds like really good solid state, which is good for the bass IMO.
Dynamic, deep bass tube preamp.
I also want all the other attributes of a good tube preamp but because my system is both music and HT I want to hear everything as it was meant to be. Range ? Under $1500. I can go higher depending on circunstances.
