DVD-transport and DAC lock question

Hello--
I am using a Denon DVD 2900 with a Musical Fidelity A 3/24 DAC and it is a great combination.

Ideally, I would like to keep this solid state equipment "warm" by leaving it switched on. Unfortunately, the Denon goes into standby mode when not in use and the DAC loses the signal lock as a result. What this means is that the DAC then is constantly flashing lights, looking for a signal to lock. Is there any way to keep the equipment "warm" and sounding it's best without the whole flashing lights thing going on? Does it hurt a DAC to be on without a signal lock?

Thanks for any help.
