Hi, I'm planning to buy a drum throne, really want one that looks like bike sit, are the comfortable? Any suggestion or feedback on an excellent drum throne? Thanks in advance!
I have a backrest for my Rok-n-Soc, but one has to be sitting very upright for it to be of any use. One thing it IS good for is preventing one from falling backwards off the throne at the end of a long night of drinking while drumming ;-) .
I like the old DW 9000 ones. I haven't tried their new foam ones.
Hey, I just found a good article and a praise for extralarge and comfortable drumthrone! Now the question is, do i need a backrest for it? Anyone finds the backrest comfortable while practicing?
And it's a failure! I odered Rok-n-Soc saddle throne and it came defective so I had to send it back and I do not want reoder it again - it looks like they send used defective thrones
I've been sitting on a Rok-n-Soc throne (the originator of the "bike seat" style) for over 25 years. Extremely comfortable, even when playing four sets a night. Very well made (I'm still on my original), lots of models and features to choose from. The basic model may be all you need.
