Does the cary audio303/100 havea variable output ?

No... but you can get a really good one installed by cary for 500.00 dollars. Speak to upscale audio about it they have all the info. The 303/200 does have a built in digital volume control tho and the analog is 500.00 extra as well. I hope this is helpful

I have a Cary 303/100 with the factory installed variable gain. It adds an additional remote to your system. The additional remote controls mute off and on and volume up and down. Fine tuning the volume can be tricky because it ramps up quickly. Also there is no visual indicator on the CD player to let you know where the volume is set.
