Does anyone really know

How good of a job does Peter at Soundsmith do when retipping a Benz cartridge. My dealer says that if I let Peter retip it, it will never sound the same. He's not saying it will sound bad but not the way that Benz intended it to sound.

Does anyone here have first hand experience with this?
