I wanted to loop back to this thread to report that I replaced the dedicated power cord with the standard three-prong that came with the unit, then plugged it into a new, common surge suppressor, directly into wall outlet. It has worked properly ever since, ripping a number of CDs. I have absolutely no sound quality variance either. At any rate, thanks to all who added to this thread.
Does Anyone Have Problems Ripping CDs with Zenith??
I have a new Zenith Mk3. It connected perfectly and has been streaming via Innuos Sense for days. Finally, I decided to rip a CD. I put it in the slot, it took and began ripping. Suddenly, in the middle of the process, it quit. The unit turned itesel off (no light). The iPad I was using lost connection. I pressed the front button on the unit, it turned white and ran through the cycle but, instead of turning blue, turns itself off. Now I have a CD inside the unit but cannot get it to connect (turn blue). When I turn it off and on the back toggle switch, it just cycles in white and then turns off again. Now the kicker: this is the second unit I have had that has done this. I bought a Zenith Mk3 in Sept. and it did the same. I eventually shipped it back to the factory and they replaced it with this one. I'm at a loss...
