Does anybody remember the MOBIE cable break-in device

I just purchased a relic from the past, a MOBIE, which is Maximum Overdrive Break In Engine. From the few blog posts that I've been able to find, it appears that this is one of the earliest machines created for the process of breaking in rca and xlr interconnects. Does anyone have any experience with this unit? It appears to have hit the market in about 2001. The unit I bought lights up and is currently cooking a pair of Zen Acoustic Silver Reference 2 rca interconnects. I haven't been able get any instructions from the seller or on line. If anybody can provide any guidance on using this unit I would be very grateful.
