Do you have a speaker that’s not a big name maker but punches above its weight? Why?

I have a Gato Fm6. My reference for last 10 years. Sounds amazing. Designer used to work for Gamut. Amazing clarity. Great open midrange and vapor like treble that’s detailed , transparent and vapor like!  What are others?

The Vera-Fi Vanguard Scout. I doubt you can find a better sub-$300 speaker. I heard them last November at the Capital Audiofest event. I had purchased a pair by late spring of this year. They are very musical speakers, but have enough detail that I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I believe that they are tuned to the Harman Curve, but don't quote me on that.

Vanatoo Transparent One - demoed them at AXPONA 2022, kept returning to the room because I couldn’t believe the great Sonics for so little money.  So I purchased a pair which I didn’t really need.

Cabasse Rialto - at an audio show they sounded fantastic and I was surprised at the ample bass from such a small speaker, some commented it seemed underpriced…..which is a rarity

The dark horse for me is the NHT C3. I’m amazed how good these speakers sound at the price. Imaging is some of the best I’ve heard.

Paradigm represents good value. If you like the very clean, transparent sound of Focal-some love it, some don't- Paradigm can deliver similar sound quality at a lower price. The build quality is superb-great company.

Another vote for Eminent Technology LFT-8b.

I think they punch waay above their weight class.

Any (used) *8" model can be brought up to the current model for a modest cost, with mfg support...including the latest LFT-8c..which is getting rave reviews.

Wonderful set of speakers.
