Do people hate Eversolo on here? Or is it liked some?

Just trying to a tap on the feelings of Eversolo around here. Do some people like it or does everyone hate it? Like the upper models like A8 and A10?

I’ve had my A10 since May. There was a little trepidation if I’m totally honest, in buying an Eversolo product but I bought from a very reputable dealer here in the UK with excellent customer service should I need it.

So far, the A10 is rock solid. My thought process for choosing the A10 was to reduce my box count. Due to health issues, I just wanted to simplify my system but compromise on SQ as little as possible.

I use the A10 as a streamer/DAC; the only reason I don’t use the pre-amp (which is great btw) is I wanted to keep tubes in the system via my Heaven 11 Billie mkii as pre-amp.

The other factor that piqued my interest were the sub outs, which I use with my REL Sub and cut the the bass from my mains at 65hz. I haven’t really tried the room correction software (need a mic) but without going into hyperbole, for me, my system is actually more enjoyable than it’s previous iteration. For reference, the rest of the system is an Atoll AM200 Signature power amp and ATC SCM40’s, electronics powered from a Puritan Audio PSM 156

In conclusion, yep I’ve been more than pleasantly surprised how good the A10 is, not just it’s flexible functionality, but it sounds great to these ears. So I guess I like Eversolo based on experience so far

For me, I have the A6 and i simply love it. It is my main streamer, and I use it every day 18 hours a day. I don’t shut it off. I have it for 1.5 years now.

I have an Eversolo A-10 in my system (ARC LS-28 and VT-80SE) and am very pleased with its build quality, sonics and overall capabilities. I've had no issues with it but there may be some folks who have trouble using all of its features due to relative complexity of its software. It's more like a computer than a last generation DAC. It integrates seamlessly with Roon using Small Green Computer Sonic Transporter I9 as a Roon core. I found the software overall excellent with updates every few months so no issues there. Since I have an IT background, I may be more comfortable with its extensive features than some folks. What sort of issues are folks running into that requires factory support that your dealer can't provide?

I bought the A6 because with HDMI I can stream multichannel on my Meridian system. But then I found out only USING Roon. No one can answer why I can't stream multichannel directly from the apps in the eversolo, like Apple, Qobuz and others that offer Dolby encoded stuff. The Facebook group is for newbs. But I do appreciate it's multiple output features so I I can have it connected to various systems when needed.

Just saw this Absolute Sound review of the A10 and it’s very positive and it really is an impressively feature-packed, high-value product.  Of course in typical TAS fashion he fails to compare its sonic performance to anything else, which greatly diminishes the usefulness of the review IMO because that’s where the rubber meets the road.  Anyway and regardless, on the surface it does seem overall to be an impressive package, just hope nothing goes wrong cause it ain’t Innuos or Aurender service here — kinda like walking on eggshells.
