You are describing MIT's Z-Cord I. I believe this is one of the first generation power cables they made years back. You should be able to come across one used.
Do any MIT power cords come in WHITE color?
A friend of mine sent me a picture of an entry level power cord from MIT and it is White color with 2 ferrites on both end in white color as well; the whole complete cable is white. Does any1 know or have a white color power cable from MIT?
